I am doing my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Philippe Chouinard. For my Bachelor’s thesis, I have studied under supervision of Professor Huseyin Boyaci and conducted an fMRI study to examine the effects of attention on selective colour adaptation in primary visual cortex. In my master’s thesis, I have worked under supervision of Professor Emre Ozgen and conducted psychophysical experiments to detect the effects of expectations on rapid scene perception. Currently, I am working on the contribution of monocular and binocular depth cues to size constancy. I am particularly interested in how top-down information affects perceptual constancy and shapes what we see.
